Dr Farzana Hussain recently attended a general practice Improvement leaders program run by NHS England sustainability and improvement team. She has implemented some of the learning to improve the practice repeat prescription system and travel vaccine service. The practice is using quality improvement science to increase patient satisfaction and ability to book GP appointments. The practice is looking at ways to help patients book GP appointments online.
The Project Surgery has been advising practices as far as Gloucestershire and Peterborough to help them implement the surgery's telephone consultation system.

AVERAGE EARNINGS FOR GPS AT THE PROJECT SURGERY
All GP practices are required to declare mean earnings (average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.
The average pay for GPs working in The Project surgery in the last financial year was £ 51,356 before tax and National Insurance. This is for one part time GP principal and 3 part time salaried GPs who worked in the practice for longer than 6 months.
We have added a new page to our website to enable you to access our CQC reports, provided by the Care Quality Commission.
On the page is information on how some of our patients helped with the visit on the day, some highlights of the report and a link to enable you to access and download the entire report.
The Project Surgery is registering New patients.
After registering online please bring a proof of address when you're next passing the surgery - we can provide appointments after the proof of address is delivered. Please note for a baby registration we will need Red book and immunisation details.
We would like to inform patients that they can now request prescriptions online via Patient access.
